Your Wellness Roadmap

This program is targeted to adults over the age of 40 who are just beginning to notice health problems surfacing among their parents and relatives. During this four-part series, participants:

  • Evaluate the health history of their family
  • Evaluate their own risk of type 2 diabetes
  • Establish their current activity level
  • Determine how much fiber they eat

After evaluating their own person risk, participants learn how to adopt strategies related to nutrition and physical activity to reduce these risks.

This program is a basic nutrition class that helps you to more fully understand the food label and the food guide pyramid. It also features healthy cooking tips to help improve your daily eating plan.
