Training Topics: The training program will cover development, implementation, and maintenance of a food safety program with HACCP principles. This training will include the following topics:
This training reflects the UDSA guidance and utilizes USDA/NFSMI training
materials. Approved by: Why Attend ? Schools participating in the Child Nutrition Program (CNP) are mandated to write HACCP-based food safety programs. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a preventative system to reduce the risk of foodborne illness through appropriate food handling, monitoring, and record keeping.
